1. Who we are
Vautier Store is operated by Agence Vautier, Avenue Cardinal Mermillod 36, 1227 Carouge, Switzerland (“Vautier”, “we”). Contact: contact@agencevautier.ch, +41 22 300 08 29.
2. The service and these terms
Vautier Store is a software service (SaaS) for creating and running an online store: a storefront on an address of the platform (yourstore.vautier.store, or your own domain on plans that include it), a dashboard to manage products, orders, customers, delivery, taxes and payment methods, and themes to adapt the storefront to your brand.
These terms apply between Vautier and the business that creates an account (“merchant”, “you”). The features, limits and prices of each plan are those shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard at the time you subscribe.
You accept these terms when you create your account. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
3. Eligibility and your account
Vautier Store is intended for businesses and self-employed people selling goods or services. You must provide a valid email address that you control; we verify it with a one-time code (or through Google, if you choose to sign in with Google).
Each account has one store. You can invite team members with the roles Owner, Admin or Staff; the Owner is responsible for the store, its plan and its team.
4. Signing in and account security
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address or with your Google account. Keep access to your mailbox and Google account secure: anyone who controls them can sign in to your store.
Tell us without delay at contact@agencevautier.ch if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for what your team members do in your dashboard.
5. Your store and access to it
Your store, its content and its customer relationships belong to you. Access to the dashboard follows the team roles you assign. Vautier staff can access store data through the platform’s administration tools, which are restricted to authorised staff and whose actions are logged.
Store addresses on the platform domain (yourstore.vautier.store) are provided as part of the service and may only be used while your account is active. Your own domain remains yours.
6. Plans, prices and billing
Plans are billed in Swiss francs, monthly or annually, at the prices shown on the pricing page. Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe; we do not store your card details.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period until it is cancelled. You can cancel in your dashboard: the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and you can undo it until then. A change to a smaller plan or a shorter billing period takes effect at the end of the current period; the dashboard shows the exact effect before you confirm any change.
When a paid period ends without renewal, your store is paused (see section 7). Nothing is deleted because a subscription ends.
7. Free trial
Every new store starts with a free trial of 3 days. No payment card is needed and nothing is charged during the trial.
If you subscribe during the trial, your card is saved and the first payment is taken when the trial ends. If the trial ends without a plan, your store is paused: it remains visible but takes no new orders, your dashboard remains usable, nothing is deleted or charged, and choosing a plan reopens it immediately.
8. Your responsibilities as a merchant
You are the seller towards your customers. In particular, you are responsible for:
- the products and services you offer, their descriptions, prices and availability;
- the tax rates you configure and your tax obligations;
- your own terms of sale, return conditions and privacy information for your customers (your store has pages for them);
- fulfilling orders, delivery, returns and customer service;
- complying with the laws that apply to your business and to selling to your customers;
- the lawfulness of the content, images and data you upload.
Payments from your customers are made to you: cash or card on delivery, or online through your own Stripe account where available. Vautier does not hold your money and takes no commission on your sales.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Vautier Store to:
- sell goods or services that are illegal or that you are not allowed to sell;
- publish content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes the rights of others;
- send unsolicited messages or collect personal data unlawfully;
- attempt to access other stores, accounts or data, test or circumvent the platform’s security, or disrupt the service;
- use the service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.
10. Intellectual property
The platform, its software, themes, design and the Vautier Store name and logo belong to Vautier or its licensors. While your account is active you may use them to run your store; you may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer the platform.
Demo content offered at setup (example products, texts and images) is provided to help you explore the platform; replace it before you start selling.
11. Your data and content
You keep all rights to the content and data you put into your store. You grant Vautier the rights needed to host, process and display them for the purpose of providing the service.
For the personal data of your customers that you manage in your store, Vautier acts on your behalf and on your instructions; you remain responsible for informing your customers and for having a legal basis for the processing. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Availability and maintenance
We work to keep Vautier Store available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. During maintenance some functions can be temporarily limited.
We develop the platform continuously and may change, add or remove features.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Vautier Store at any time by cancelling your subscription. We may suspend access to an account or a store, in whole or in part, if these terms are seriously breached, if required by law, or to protect the platform, other merchants or the public. Where reasonable, we inform you first and give you the opportunity to remedy the situation.
14. Data export and closing your account
The store Owner can request an export of the store’s data from the dashboard; the export file can be downloaded for 72 hours. To close your account and delete your store, contact us at contact@agencevautier.ch.
When an account is closed, the store’s data is deleted. Records we must keep by law, such as invoices and accounting records, and the audit trail of administrative actions are kept for the required period.
15. Liability
Each party’s liability is governed by the applicable law. These terms do not add any exclusion or limitation of liability.
16. Changes to these terms
Vautier Store is a continuously evolving platform. These terms may be updated to reflect changes to our services, our operations or applicable legal requirements. Each version is dated, and the version you accepted is recorded with your account. A new version applies only from the date it takes effect, never retroactively, and does not affect rights you already have under these terms or under the law. Material changes are communicated to merchants before they take effect, as required by applicable law; where a change requires your renewed acceptance, it applies to you only once you have accepted it.
